I like to tell stories. I always have. I have been told I have a seriously weird point of view. I tend to see things a little differently, and I’m proud of that. I can’t really explain it other than a steady dose of 70’s and 80’s pop culture, skateboarding, art, music and being marketed to relentlessly as a kid made my imagination run wild. I just do what I have always done and illustrate the story. I like to absorb the content and let the visual story jump out at me. I can tell a story with just one giant visual or illustrate data to bring the data to life and give it a visual meaning. Whether it’s B2B and B2C or Band Merch and Beer Labels, I like to find and tell the story in everything.
In my spare time I like to paint the stars of my childhood, hike when it’s not a thousand degrees outside, pet kitties and I play in several local bands.

I currently collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute visual design concepts leveraging industry-specific techniques to create a wide range of in-house and client-facing projects and campaigns in digital and print formats.
Ray is truly one of a kind. He is so creative, genuine, and a cultural lynchpin. His technical skill in design is immense. He has a real gift for taking a brand and making it come to life in a differentiated and consistent way. I’ve enjoyed working with Ray more than I can say. The way his mind works is so unique. Having Ray as part of any team immediately raises the standard of the output. Photoshop wizard. All around brilliant team member and creative executioner.
Racheal Bates – Director of Marketing, The Starr Conspiracy
I’ve worked with Ray for the last five years and would recommend him to anyone to work with. He is among the most creative individuals I have had the pleasure of meeting. Not only can he create great marketing materials for clients while thinking outside the box and listening to the needs of contacts, he cares deeply about the experience of those around him.
Andrea VanDolah – Workflow Analyst, The Starr Conspiracy
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Ray for a little over six years. His optimism and positive outlook on work and life is infectious and one of the things I’ve enjoyed most about working with him. The fact that he’s a talented designer and a creative problem solver is just an added benefit.
Kevin Mangum – Partner and Chief Revenue Officer, The Starr Conspiracy
I worked with Ray for more than 13 years at Thomson Reuters. He has always been a pleasure to work with, a skilled designer, a problem-solver and a solid team member. On numerous occasions he helped me out even though we were on different teams. I respect Ray for his creative talents but even more so for the kind of person he is.
Daniel Miller – Senior Graphic Designer, Thomson Reuters
I’ve worked with Ray for over six years, and beyond that, his work in the local design and art community is legend. I admired his work long before I ever knew him. I can so confidently say that he is one of the most creative, genuine, and caring humans I’ve ever known. Whether it’s large-scale, complex brand projects, or one-off quick design hits, you can count on him every single time. He approaches design with such a unique perspective, he is an absolute ninja at his craft, and most importantly, he is a joy to work with.
Erin Sanders – Creative Director, The Starr Conspiracy
Ray is one of the most talented Art Directors I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with! The two most exceptional characteristics of Ray is his creativity and sense of humor. He sees things that other people can’t, and has an ability to form associations between subjects or objects that at first have seemingly nothing in common. Ray’s commitment to his craft, imaginativeness, skills in visual arts, and ability to work independently or with a team make him a great candidate for any organization, and he has my heartfelt recommendation.
Krisitin Berry – Senior Client Success Manager, The Starr Conspiracy
Throughout the past 12 years, Ray Liberio has completed several creative projects for my two small businesses. His most notable designs are the logos for both of my bars, The Boiled Owl Tavern and Tarantula Tiki Lounge. Aside from Ray’s work being stunning, edgy, and simply the coolest, he has a special way of knowing exactly what I want before I do. Ray takes the time to get to know the personality and energy behind my establishments, and then produces the exact artwork to fit the vibe. I could rave about how much I love Ray’s creations at length, though I know his art speaks for itself. Ray himself is professional, intuitive, and highly imaginative; always an honor to work with. If you have further questions about my experiences working with Ray, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
